Happy Valentine’s Day!

HRBS has moved to the big smoke! We now operate from our new offices in Adelaide Street, which is great news for our many city based clients as we will now be conducting both breakfast and lunch roundtables from our new boardroom. Our new digs is directly opposite Bar Barossa which is terribly convenient for me as I have re-discovered my love of vino after my return from maternity leave.

On the HR front the new Workplace Bullying Laws are causing a headache for many employers. 44 workplace bullying claims have already been lodged with the commission by unhappy employees. For our employer clients this means you need to know how to investigate a complaint should you receive one. This is why we are conducting a series of seminars on this very topic in February and March, and we will shortly release a Workplace Investigations Toolkit.

We have a new and exciting training, events and roundtable calendar for 2014 so check it out on our website. We are also planning our first HRBS Conference aimed at providing HR Managers with professional development and an update on all the exciting changes in the HR and IR world in November.

You've got an underperforming employee, you book a meeting. During that meeting you address your areas of concern with their performance.
